Our Ones room provide the same loving, nurturing environment as our infants emphasizing age appropriate activities that will enhance each child’s physical, emotional and social development. We begin focusing on peer to peer interactions and socializing within this age group as well as practicing routines and transitions within the classroom. We strive to help each child develop a positive self-image by encouraging creativity and individuality.
Weekly themes
Educator’s follow weekly themes and create Lesson plans tailored to the child’s age and developmental needs, while following the AZ Infant and Toddler Developmental Standards.
Learning Moments
Each moment will be a learning moment for your child in the class. At this age you will see new behaviors both outside of the class as well as in their class. They are becoming more independent and that will come with teachable and learning moments.
Hands-on, Child-lead, and Teacher lead activities
Our activities are tailored to meet the needs of the children in the classroom, but consist of a range of types of activities. From hands on, to play, you will see it all.
ProCare Access
Parents will have access to our ProCare system. Here you will find diaper changes, feeding times, and updates about your infants day. Ability to communicate with staff and admin through the messaging system, so your messages will never be missed. Visit our ProCare information page to learn more.
